Hi! Julia here, I decided to make a blog post partially because I love to write. I decided on interviewing one of my biggest role models, my mom and some of her favorite memorable childhood experiences.
Me (Julia): “Mama (Emily) what was the most troublesome thing you did as a kid/pre teen or teen?
Mama (Emily): “hmmm” “I was a very good kid because my brother (David) was not. I did stay out all night one time and was at a party.”
Me (Julia): *oh snap face*
Mama: “Butttt I did let her (my mother) know where I was, and… I still got in trouble.”
Me: “If I told you where I was would you be mad?”
Mama: “no” I was quite shocked at that.
Me: “What’s your fondest funny memory from your childhood?”
Mama: “Umm that’s a hard question”
10 hours later…
“So the real answer is I don’t have just one… more thinking.“
*smack*
“Um gosh Julia …”
more thinking…
“It’s not really funny but I used to love making Christmas cookies with my mom every year.”
Me: Ok next question, what was the most embarrassing thing you ever did at school? *evil grin + giggle*
Mama: “when i pulled a book out of my locker and a tampon when flying out onto the floor”
Me: “:0 What did you do?”
Mama: “I picked it up and shuffled out of there!”
Me: “Will I have a curfew in high school or a screen time limit?”
Mama: “haha, The answer is… n- it depends? But no on screen time limit, but if you end up having a curfew it’ll probably be around 12? Depends on how responsible you are.”
Me: WHAT 12?! I won’t sneak out pinky swear.
And that just so wraps it up. I had a lot of fun writing this, (a little hard keeping up though) but I’d love to do it again, let me know what you think of it!
Sweet and refreshing. Keep it up!
